CRC/SFB 1772

The newly founded CRC 1772 - mol2Dmat investigates novel collective states and quantum phenomena arising from heterostructures of molecules and two-dimensional materials. Our interdisciplinary consortium brings together 20 research groups from Freie Universität Berlin, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Technische Universität Berlin and the Max Planck Institute in Hamburg. Our goal is to push the boundaries of quantum materials research at the interface of physics, chemistry and materials science.
